Fatal truck accidents happen nearly 11 times a day in the U.S. CNBC looks at the causes, who's to blame, and why it gets little attention. I did some research and found this interesting powerpoint presentation on the USDOT website called "Why Trucks Collide with Cars." http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/ltccs/Data/documents/08-TRFOrlando.ppt It states the number one cause of truck/passenger vehicle accidents is not brakes, the vehicle or the truck driver! What do you think the number 1 cause is?
